character info

▷ First Impressions
▶ VISUAL: More hairspray has been used on this boy’s hair than is medically advisable near human lungs. Whether it’s specific spikes or it’s just a mess, he clearly took some time to make it look like he spent no time worrying about his hair. Leather jackets, studded clothing, buttons everywhere. ’The revolution starts here’, The Misfits album covers, anti-Nazi logos, pride flags; he wears his emotions (and his political views) on his sleeves. Big black boots, flannel sleeves, and buck teeth - he's got it all, folks.

▶ AURAL: Ronnie is loud. He's loud and intense when having private conversations, he's loud and casual when he's ordering food at privately-owned restaurants, he's loud and excited when he's congratulating vendors on what they're selling at whatever indie local even he's found. He's particularly loud when he's angry, at which point he probably is grabbing for someone's megaphone to yell demands.

▶ DEMEANOUR: He leans on everything and slouches, lounges and drags himself around. He makes himself at home with the obvious decision of someone who was made to feel out of place once and is determined to look like that will never bother him again. (Spoilers: it will.) Ronnie is constantly alert, though - there's a vibrant energy to him. He's always ready to say hello to a stranger or interrupt a conversation that he thinks seems sketchy. He tries to reason anything new out based on his experiences, but he's not afraid to listen to what someone else has got to say.

▷ A Bit Deeper
▶ IF YOU KEEP TALKING: Ronnie has a lot of passionate political views, almost all of which revolve around helping the least fortunate of any given group. He's helpful but in a way that tries to make people not thank him, and he'll brush off praise if you see through it enough to give him any. He'll try incredibly hard to keep anyone from seeing him crying, but make no mistakes - he'd kill for a hug during it. He's terrified of being abandoned, but he absolutely needs to belong. He's a wreck, but he's a passionately devoted wreck - he's aligned himself with the punk subculture so strongly to try to join a family. If he befriends you, it's ride or die - at least until any moral lines get crossed.
